This is a rare October 27th, 1947 programme (playbill) from the one-week, Post-Broadway engagement of the VICTOR HERBERT and HENRY BLOSSOM musical "THE RED MILL" at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. (The revival opened October 16th, 1945 at New York's Ziegfeld Theatre, later moved to the Forty-Sixth Street Theatre and ran for a total of 531 performances before going on the road.) ..... The musical starred ODETTE MYRTIL, BUSTER WEST, DOROTHY STONE, CHARLES COLLINS, SAR ANN McCABE and EDWARD DEW and featured JANET MEDLIN, EARL WILLIAM, FRANK JACQUET, HAL PRICE, BOBBY VAIL, WALLY MOHR, LELAND LEDFORD and STEPHANIE AUGUSTINE .....
